Responsibilities

Coding, testing, and implementing Oracle Applications. Develop and implement interfaces using BPEL and SOA Suite(11g), OA Framework Extension and Customizations using Oracle JDeveloper. Customizing reports and forms using Developer 2000 and PL/SQL for custom interfaces, conversions and coding new functionality. Develop custom solution using GWT 2.0 (Google Web Toolkit) and integrate with Oracle Applications.
  • Develop, create, and modify specialized utility programs based on DAZ’s proprietary Software and Oracle E-business Applications utilizing the DAZ methodology. 
  • Analyze user needs and develop/customize software solutions in Oracle Applications.
  • Customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
  • Ability to participate in Client Requirement meetings.
  • Involvement in planning and scheduling activities to meet the project deadlines.
  • Estimate the complexity and timeline for change requests.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies.
  • Strong Coding knowledge, testing and implementation of Oracle Applications.
  • Develop and implement interfaces using BPEL and SOA Suite (11g).
  • OA Framework extension and customizations
  • Customizing reports and forms using Developer 2000 and PL/SQL for custom interfaces, conversions and coding new functionality.
  • Develop custom solutions using GWT  and integrate with oracle applications
  • Test all scenarios and fix any bugs, release the new functionality for end user testing and acceptance. 
  • Move large volumes of key data related to Customers, Vendors, Items, Sales Orders, Purchase order and Price lists to the new system.
  • Map the data fields in old and new system and develop file structures and conversion programs that can accurately convert all the data into new application.
  • Document the logic needed to generate reports on a regular basis. 
  • Test and post development of reports to ensure accuracy of data that is being extracted from the system. 
  • Develop/Customize User Interface in Oracle Forms, OA Framework, ADF Framework, Java and GWT
  • Develop Interfaces/Conversions using SQL/PLSQL, BPEL (Business Process Execution Language).
  • Develop/Customize Oracle Workflow.
  • Develop/Customize Reports using Oracle Reports, Oracle BI Publisher.
  • Interacting with Customers and ability to talk in user's language to better understand their requirement and put forth suggestions which would help enhance the business process.
  • Understand business processes and the complexities of business operations and leveraging the features of the Oracle Applications, DAZ Software and methodology to the advantage of the clients business.
  • Setting up of best business practices and integration requirements across multiple functions including data conversions and customizations
  • Interact with the client through detailed discussions with users across various business functions and geographical locations.
  • Understand the data structure in the legacy system.
  • Plan and design reports on various transactions performed by users across all business functions and geographical locations.
  • Ensure all customizations do not negatively impact the standard functionality.
  • Manage/direct DAZ technical teams as needed.
